Amman Weaver has been promoted to take over the roles of Chief Operations Officer in addition to his responsibilities as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.
Amman, a former Barclays Investment Bank analyst and Binghamton native has been promoted to lead the operations of CSG along with continuing his duties as the top financial officer. This comes at a time in the global cannabis industry when operational execution and precise fiscal oversight has become synonymous with success. His roles will now encompass business development, operational expansion, and team management, along with financial planning and human resources.
While CSG is committed to developing a robust, diverse, and sustainable industry across New York, Broome County has served as base of operations and plans for expansion. Amman attended Binghamton High School with CEO Kaelan Castetter where he stood out on the football field and in the classroom. He shattered the school’s single game touchdown record, graduated in the top 10 percentile, and was widely regarded as one of the top students in his class.
"Knowing Amman for almost my entire life, it was an honor to have him join our executive team. After seeing him excel in his role as CFO and jump into some of our highest stress situations to get-it-done, the decision to task him with oversight of operations is an easy one. His work ethic and ability to lead our highly skilled management teams is unrivaled." -Kaelan Castetter, Chief Executive Officer
I am absolutely thrilled with the opportunity to take on the role of COO. Returning back to the Binghamton community to work alongside close friends of mine, our highly skilled management team, and dozens of employees has been an exciting experience. Looking forward to guide CSG as we navigate the nascent cannabis industry. - Amman Weaver
